Description:
After a failed suicide attempt, withdrawn 30-something Ian begins receiving advice from a growth in his bathroom. The Mold, a charming fungus born from the bathroom's grime, attempts to gain Ian's trust by encouraging him to improve his hygiene and lifestyle. With The Mold's assistance, Ian catches the eye of his neighbor, Leah, and finds moments of happiness despite his unusual situation. However, strange messages from his old television lead Ian to suspect The Mold's motives. As bizarre events unfold and peculiar people appear, Ian finds himself caught in a larger conflict between good and evil, a battle he only begins to understand.
