Description:
This story recounts the legend of how Shinto began. In 4th century Japan, Prince Ouso is slated to inherit the throne from his father, but Otomo, a powerful court official, favors Ouso’s stepbrother and schemes to have Ouso killed on a perilous assignment he has engineered. However, Ouso succeeds on the mission and returns to the Emperor's castle disguised as Prince Yamato Takeru. Otomo then plots to send the Prince into even greater danger, unaware that the gods are protecting him, leading to an unexpected outcome.
