Description:
American photojournalist Sam Hunter is reporting on the Pope's visit to San Pedro, a South American nation. However, Sam's true objective is to locate revolutionary leader Marcos and secure an exclusive interview. He soon finds himself in danger from the strict military regime of dictator Mendosa. Undeterred, Sam journeys into the mountains to find Marcos, where he meets Dr. Luisa Suarez, a doctor dedicated to helping the poor mountain people. Despite an erupting volcano and interference from a government death squad, Sam reaches Marcos and begins to support the revolutionary cause, documenting it through his photographs. The story culminates in a chaotic climax as both a revolution and a volcanic eruption occur, and Sam fights to get his revealing photos to the world's newspapers.
