Description:

Set in 18th century Paris, this film tells the true story of the infamous Marquis de Sade. A young woman's desperate search for her missing sister leads her into the dangerous world of the Marquis. Imprisoned for his crimes, Sade holds the sister's fate in his power. She must help him finish his controversial book of eroticism to learn what happened to her sibling. As the Marquis tries to corrupt her with his twisted views, their struggle becomes a battle of wills. When he escapes prison, she follows him to his secluded chateau, seeking answers about her sister and confronting her own destiny.
