This documentary explores the world of professional gamers in South Korea. Each year, thousands gather in Seoul to watch the Pro League, a live sporting event where skilled players compete in the video game Starcraft. Becoming a professional Starcraft player is a coveted dream for many young South Koreans. Though the game is over a decade old, it has become a national pastime. Like traditional sports, the eSports scene has grown into a multi-million dollar industry. The film follows three gamers at different points in their careers as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of professional play – for some, a fight to maintain their position, for others, a chance to change their lives.
