Description:

Warner Baxter stars as a driven producer of a burlesque show who achieves success on Broadway. Alice Faye plays the devoted burlesque singer who assists Baxter's rise. As fame changes him, Baxter becomes captivated by a sophisticated woman (Mona Barrie) with her own ambitions in the theater. She marries him and persuades him to focus on serious plays instead of his lavish musical revues. The plays fail, and she leaves him. Alice Faye returns from London, and she and her burlesque friends rally to help Baxter regain his footing and return to the top.
