Description:
During World War I, British nurse Edith Cavell works at a hospital in Brussels. She helps the son of a former patient escape from a German prison and reach Holland. Disgusted by the imprisonment of soldiers, Edith and others plan an escape for the prisoners. While they work to free the soldiers, Edith must conceal their activities from the German authorities.
