Description:
In New York, a singing Irish police officer unexpectedly catches the attention of two producers during the annual Policeman's Ball. They've been searching for the perfect voice for their new cartoon, "Paddy the Pig," and he's ideal. Thrilled at the idea of stardom, the cop shares his good fortune with everyone, unaware of their plans. He eventually marries one of the producers, who hasn't revealed the truth. At the premiere of "Paddy the Pig," the officer is mortified to discover he's been the subject of ridicule. He leaves his wife and returns to the police force. Years later, they reconcile and resolve their issues.
