Description:
During a performance, dancer Ginny Walker is confronted by a veiled woman in the audience who accuses her of stealing her husband and then shoots her. After Ginny collapses and is taken to her dressing room, the woman, Julia Westcolt, a friend of Ginny's, rushes backstage, removes her veil, and congratulates Ginny on a successful publicity stunt. Later, Ginny boasts about the incident to her press agents, Gus Crane and his son Junior, criticizing them for lacking creativity. Horrified by Ginny’s behavior, Junior, a Harvard graduate, scolds her and leaves.
