Unforgiven (2005) was the seventh annual Unforgiven pay-per-view event held on September 18, 2005, at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The show featured wrestlers and performers from the Raw program. It remains the only WWE pay-per-view to take place in Oklahoma. The main event saw Kurt Angle challenge WWE Champion John Cena in a standard wrestling match. Two other matches on the card included Shawn Michaels versus Chris Masters and a steel cage match where Matt Hardy fought Edge. Unforgiven generated over $485,000 in ticket sales with approximately 8,000 attendees and approximately 243,000 pay-per-view purchases.
