Description:
Shahjada Ijjat Beg arrives in Gujarat with his caravan and establishes himself in a local town. He falls in love with Sohani, a potter who runs a shop. He purchases pots from her with his entire fortune, sparking mutual attraction. Sohani dismisses her servant to keep Ijjat Beg as her companion, allowing them more time together. Their relationship causes a scandal, and Sohani is forced into a marriage with Rehaman, who is deeply infatuated with her. Despite this, Sohani continues to meet Ijjat Beg while he fishes. Eventually, overwhelmed by societal pressure, they choose to end their lives together.
