This collection features theatrical trailers for 27 mainstream and art-house films, presented in chronological order from "Tea and Sympathy" to "Outrageous!". It offers a look at nearly every major film produced between 1953 and 1977 that focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) themes. Archivist Jenni Olson, an expert in LGBT film history, curated these trailers from her personal collection of rare original 35mm previews. "Homo Promo" has been shown at film festivals worldwide, offering a nostalgic look at these coming attractions. Please note that the original prints show their age, but have now been donated to the Outfest/UCLA Legacy Project for preservation.
