Description:
"Papermoon" is the story of Chen Tian Song, a poor kite maker who falls in love with Gao Shi Qin, the daughter of a wealthy family destined to inherit their business. Their youthful love transforms into a lifetime of regret and a deeply moving romance. Years later, Tian Song channels his guilt and longing for Shi Qin into crafting kites, until he meets Gao Man Hua. Man Hua travels to Kelantan searching for the first love of her mother, the man who hurt her. Her arrival stirs unease in the reserved Tian Song, bringing back painful memories. He's troubled by Man Hua’s persistence, yet drawn to her because she strongly resembles her mother, Shi Qin, his teenage sweetheart.
