Description:
Ten-year-old Liv begins dating her classmate, Mike, who gifts her a small, white mouse he painstakingly tamed himself. At school, Mike starts confiding in Liv’s friend, the popular girl, sparking jealousy in Liv. Overwhelmed by this unfamiliar feeling, Liv takes her frustration out on the mouse, leaving it with her cat and shutting the door. The mouse is badly injured. By the time Liv realizes Mike’s feelings for her haven't changed, it’s too late to save it. A story about love, cowardice, and jealousy.
