New Shadow Warriors (2003)

During the peaceful Toyotomi period, Shinotada, head of the Kochi family and a key ally of the Tokugawa shogunate, seeks to marry his younger sister, Princess Fuji, to Akinobu Sunekazura. This union is intended to secure peace with the rival Toyotomi clan. Hattori Hanzo, one of the Tokugawa's most trusted warriors, is tasked with protecting Princess Fuji. He assembles the surviving members of the Iga ninja clan, who were decimated by Oda Nobunaga, and orders them to guard her. However, the Sunekazura clan hires the Fuma Ninja, led by Fuma Kotaro, and the Koga Ninja, led by Sarutobi Sasuke, who serves Hideyoshi Toyotomi, to assassinate the princess. Can Hanzo Hattori and the Iga remnants thwart this plot and safeguard the princess? Starring Shinichi "Sonny" Chiba as Hanzo Hattori, alongside Hiroki Matsukata as his longtime rival Sarutobi Sasuke, this film features a powerful cast.
