Description:
Neal is struggling with a quarter-life crisis, still reeling from discovering his best friend and girlfriend together. After quitting his job and enduring a terrible birthday, he attempts to move on by tricking women he finds on the internet. Encouraged by his friends Barry and George, Neal arranges fake dates with women who have posted on Missed Connections. He observes them from afar as they wait for their date, then appears at the last minute, claiming he just had a delay. His scheme is working perfectly until he meets Jane, and keeps running into her. It becomes clear that Jane may be just as complicated and manipulative as he is.
