Shock Invasion (2010)

A sudden red flash engulfs Earth, instantly paralyzing humanity and leaving them vulnerable to alien invaders. But Ral Foster finds himself immune. Discovering his neighbor shares the same immunity, he teams up with him and heads for a hidden military base. Roads are blocked by traffic, so they must travel on foot, fighting off overwhelming alien forces across the devastated landscape. Their only hope lies in reaching a nuclear weapons facility, where they can destroy the aliens' deadly pods and monstrous creatures. As darkness falls, their chances dwindle.
