Description:
It's winter in Brainerd, Minnesota, where hundreds of lakes are frozen solid. But on North Long Lake, a huge area of water mysteriously remains open. Scientists can't explain it, and the phenomenon – dubbed the Black Hole – captivates the town and draws national attention. Alex, eager to finally pitch his small-town mystery show idea, sees a chance for success. He uses his savings to assemble a crew and film the pilot himself. But the Black Hole mystery proves far more unsettling and deeply personal than he anticipated, leading Alex on a spiraling journey of self-discovery that threatens his sanity and the very project he's chasing.
