Description:
Ali, a man of integrity, relocates to Istanbul for a new job and lives with his sister Hacer, her husband Yakup, and Yakup’s niece Ayşe. Soon after starting his civil service position, Ali confronts corruption among his colleagues, causing friction with his boss and fellow workers. When Yakup absconds with funds intended for a mosque, Ali and Ayşe are left facing hardship. Determined to stay together, they marry. Ali is subsequently dismissed from his job for his honesty, and he and Ayşe move to the countryside. Yakup, now in Istanbul, persuades them to return. Driven by desperation, Ali and his family rejoin Yakup, realizing their troubles are far from over.
