Description:
In this symbolic fantasy, an elderly man with wings is blown off course by a tropical storm and lands on a Caribbean island. A poor family offers him shelter in their chicken coop. Father Gonzaga, a skeptical priest, is quick to condemn the creature. Soon, curiosity seekers gather, and the family begins charging admission. A traveling carnival of human oddities sets up nearby as crowds come to see the spectacle. The winged man is treated as an unwanted pet. After six years, he repairs his wings and departs. The film contains nudity, simulated sex with a spider woman, and depictions of human exploitation, making it unsuitable for children.
