Description:
This documentary from the National Film Board of Canada follows Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte as he revisits the people and places that shaped his life, offering an intimate look at the life of this enduring legend. Turcotte is one of only three jockeys to win the American Triple Crown in the past 65 years. In 1973, the New Brunswick native rode Secretariat, considered the greatest racehorse ever, to victory in the sport's most important races. However, a 1978 accident left Turcotte paralyzed and ended his remarkable 16-year career.
