Description:

In 1970s South Italy, Tano Avallone, a struggling sales representative, becomes infatuated with Mariangela, the sixteen-year-old daughter of lawyer Totonno Fortis Pantaleo. To win her affection, he schemes to gain access to her family by pretending to be the lawyer's childhood friend and offering to eliminate the lawyer's mother, Donna Mercedes, in exchange for her inheritance. While staying with the family, Tano finds himself caught in a web of romantic attention from the unconventional governess Immaculate, desired by the lawyer, and the servant Sisina, coveted by the local priest.
