Description:
Raymond Rouleau's experimental film uses color shifts and masks to create a drama within a dance. Set on a sound stage, it features dancers performing a mime-ballet based on a legend, with the story mirroring the dancers’ experiences. Isa (Ludmila Tcherina), the lead dancer, is recovering from heartbreak after being abandoned at her wedding. A fellow dancer seeks a deeper connection with her, and shortly after, her former lover reappears. Tragedy ensues.
