Description:
This gentle Indian drama centers on a widow grappling with loss. Ramayyar was the heart of Ananpoorna's world, and his death has left her life feeling empty. The film interweaves her recollections with her current struggles. Before he passed, they ran a small cafe in their Kerala hometown, a quiet village accessible only by trains heading to Trivandrum. After the funeral, Ananpoorna is left with no means to support her teenage children as her cafe is sold and destroyed to cover debts. She then moves in with her brother-in-law. Her son, Kannan, faces a difficult choice: follow the stationmaster's advice and join the military, or join a friend traveling to the Middle-East.
