Description:
Powerlines Productions takes viewers on a global journey to witness the world's top surfers tackling the largest and most challenging waves. The film begins with Adam Replogle, Skinny, and Peter Mel searching for ideal waves. The crew then travels to Mavericks, home to the planet's most formidable coldwater waves, where Sea Flea, Oil, Barney, and Joel Fitzgerald ride the massive swells. Next, they fly to Hawaii to observe Mike Parsons, Brad Gerlach, Noah Johnson, RCJ, Kelly Slater, Ikaika Kalama, Garret McNamara, and other elite big wave surfers riding Jaws, with waves exceeding 60 feet. The film culminates with Strider Wasilewski guiding viewers through the intense conditions of Teahupoo. The film explores the motivations of these surfers through non-stop action.
