Description:

Mexico, 1940s: In this close-knit town, honor is paramount and a secret is fiercely guarded. Antonio, a respected young landowner, defies expectations by having an affair with Lola, the wife of his uncle Vicent, who is unfulfilled in her marriage. Adding to the complications, the butler's daughter Milagros is also in love with Antonio and witnesses him leaving Lola's room after they've been intimate.
