Description:
After his fiancée breaks up with him, successful lawyer Geoffrey Sherwood spirals into a drunken haze and wakes up married to a woman he doesn't know, Miriam Brady. They decide to try making their marriage work. Their landlady, a former chorus girl, takes it upon herself to help Miriam become more polished. Just as Geoffrey begins to find happiness again, Valentine reappears, and Miriam fiercely confronts her. Meanwhile, Geoffrey moves back into his club where Valentine's husband tells him he made a mistake leaving Miriam.
