Privacy (2012)

Mark, a tech-savvy college student, develops a sophisticated spyware app giving him remote access to any cell phone in New York City. He starts secretly monitoring hundreds of New Yorkers with his app, the "Privacy App." He then focuses on a captivating and enigmatic woman named Alexis, who seems to be searching for someone while also being pursued by a mysterious individual. Drawn to her, Mark has his friend Toby arrange an apartment for her. Alexis moves into Mark's building, and they fall in love. However, their romance is shattered when Alexis's hidden past surfaces, pulling Mark into a dangerous world of murder, political secrets, and widespread privacy breaches.
