Description:
When Gigione embarks on tour, Jo Donatello is left behind. While walking through the city, he meets a friend and two young girls; one of them is captivated by Donatello's overly sentimental love song. However, she's concerned about those fighting for freedom, so Donatello offers her a place as a driver in illegal races. The operation is overseen by Don Franco, a ruthless man with ties to the Camorra, who takes the girl under his wing. Upon Gigione's return, he discovers Donatello's involvement in this dangerous world. After a tense encounter with Don Franco, Donatello decides to go on a pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo to seek solace from Padre Pio.
