Description:
Swami, Radha, and their child move to Mumbai after selling their family home in the countryside. In the city, their child starts at a school filled with children from wealthy families. Life is comfortable until Radha becomes seriously ill and receives a devastating diagnosis. Swami works extra hours to pay for her treatment, but Radha uses all the money on a chair that Swami greatly desires. Radha dies, leaving behind a final wish: for their child to eventually live in America. The rest of the story follows Swami's efforts to make that dream a reality.
