Description:
In 1970, Stephen Gaskin led hundreds of hippies on a journey from San Francisco to Tennessee, establishing a renowned commune called the Farm. The community thrived on non-violence, vegetarianism, and environmental respect, with members embracing poverty, living in buses, growing food, and delivering babies at home. Filmmakers and sisters Rena and Nadine, raised in this unique environment, return to the Farm for the first time since 1985. They confront their past, exploring the rise and decline of America’s largest utopian socialist experiment and their own family history.
