Description:
Sunny is the singer of a band striving for recognition in East Berlin's music scene. They regularly play small-town gigs, but Sunny feels disconnected from both the audience and her own life. She begins a relationship with Ralph, an amateur saxophonist and philosophy student, who writes her a deeply personal song – though his preoccupation with death and infidelity proves incompatible with her. Following a conflict with a bandmate who harasses her and a confrontation with a show host, she is expelled from the band. Left adrift, she struggles to regain control of her life.
