A city undergoing rapid change: its urban development, fashion, public spaces, industrial growth, historical developments, expanding coffee industry, and evolving education system – all interwoven with the sounds of everyday life. Inspired by the influential documentary *Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Großstadt* (1927), Hungarian filmmakers Adalberto Kemeny and Rodolf Lustig, who ran Brazil's leading film laboratory, created this observational documentary.
