The film follows Andrea from birth, a premature baby who is strikingly beautiful and unique. Her parents embark on a year-long journey seeking answers and a diagnosis. Inspired by this experience, Andrea's mother, Lisa Pram, creates "The Little Black Book," a deeply personal collection of writings, drawings, and photographs. The film is inspired by this intimate diary and tells the story of loss and connection. Andrea is eventually diagnosed with a rare syndrome, 5p or Cri du Chat, resulting from a missing piece of Chromosome 5. Through this, Lisa discovers a new perspective on embracing life.
