"Missed Connections," from director Brandon Ho and writer Joseph Reidhead, is a romantic comedy exploring love, identity, the universe, and sandwiches. Romance novelist Marc Reid (Kevin O'Keefe) is set up on a blind date with Melissa by his sister Julia (Sarah Kent). Instead of Melissa, he accidentally picks up Jessie (Tatum Langton) from an apartment complex. During the night, Jessie and Marc meet old friends Gary (Bryce Chamberlain) and Mary (Renny Grames), and make new ones. Complications arise from Jessie's boyfriend, Trent (Lawrence Fernandez). Will Jessie and Marc find love, and can Jessie help Marc rediscover his passion for romance and writing, or are they destined to be another missed connection?
