Description:
Marine biologist Jack Ellway and his son Brandon travel to the Polynesian island of Malau to study how recent earthquakes have affected the local marine life. Joining them is local doctor Alyson Hart, and together they become involved in investigating a series of mysterious drownings with surprising consequences. While exploring the ocean for a strange marine creature, Brandon finds and befriends a three-foot-long baby of the creature that can walk on land. As larger, more dangerous creatures appear on the island and the military intervenes, Jack must risk everything to protect the creatures, the island, and his son. By ADAM G. THOMAS.
