Description:
Lifei and her best friend, two Chinese women working in Dubai, pool their savings to start a mushroom farm in the desert between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, aiming for financial independence. The initial excitement gives way to unexpected challenges. While her friend considers returning to her old life, Lifei remains determined. She must manage a team of Bangladeshi workers, secure investment, and maintain a steady supply of mushrooms throughout Dubai. As she gains control over her new life, a personal tragedy forces her to return to China. However, she’s trapped, unable to leave until she resolves the growing debts she’s accumulated.
