Description:
Zuzanka, the new young owner, arrives at the run-down Blue Star Hotel with plans to revive her family's failing inheritance. She becomes interested in three young men, including composer Jirka, who is working off his debt to her as a waiter. Like his friends, Jirka is drawn to Zuzanka and optimistically believes he has the best chance of winning her affection. But their plans are complicated by the arrival of a guest determined to hold an engagement party at the hotel, regardless of the circumstances. This displeases his fiancée, but Zuzanka’s charm wins over the guest, leading him to call off his engagement and choose to marry Zuzanka instead.
