Description:
In 2003, during the SARS epidemic in China and Hong Kong, eleven directors created short films to boost public confidence. Produced by the Hong Kong SAR Government's Information Service Department, the films, each lasting one to two minutes, aimed to reassure the city's population. The twelve short films are: "Rhapsody" (Johnny To and Wai Ka-fai), "My Sow Is Not Feeling Well" (Fruit Chan), "Smile" (Teddy Chen), "Of a Cause" (Animation) (Tsui Hark), "Hong Kong - A Winner" (Stephen Chow), "Who's Miss Hong Kong?" (Joe Ma), "Family of Heroes" (Alex Law and Mabel Cheung), "Until Then" (Gordon Chan and Dante Lam), "McDull 1:99" (Brian Tse), "Spring, 2003" (Peter Chan), "A Glorious Future" (Andrew Lau and Alan Mak), and "Making of 1:99" (Wong Shou-Ping).
