Description:
Muggs and Glimpy, two friends from the East Side, return home from the army, supposedly on leave. Muggs, however, has been discharged with a hidden physical problem. Back in the neighborhood, they find Danny in jail for stealing medical supplies from his workplace. Muggs notices Spider, a new gang member, flaunting money and claims he has an dishonorable discharge due to theft. Spider then confesses to Muggs that he's been helping steal supplies for Larry, who runs a nightclub where Muggs’ sister works. Larry's enforcer, Fingers, kills Spider after learning Muggs is involved. The police then suspect Muggs of Spider's murder.
