Description:
In Rotterdam, young officer Joz is tasked by his boss Lisa with investigating the murder of a sex worker named Maria. He meets Carmen during the investigation and becomes deeply infatuated, breaking off his engagement with Maryam. Carmen, however, is unwilling to reciprocate his feelings. Joz's work suffers, leading to his suspension and the case being taken over by Simon. Undeterred, Joz continues his own investigation, uncovering evidence that Carmen's brother Steve is innocent and securing his release. Driven by jealousy, Joz attacks Carmen, prompting her friends to arrange a getaway for him and Steve abroad. The truth ultimately emerges: Lisa committed the murder to protect her husband Koen, who was Maria's client. She shoots Joz.
