Description:
Following a work accident, Mr. Gupta dies, leaving his wife and son, Ramnath, to face uncertain futures. When the company denies responsibility for his death, Mr. Gupta's wife suffers a fall and dies. Shortly after, Ramnath is hit by a car and loses the use of his left leg. Returning home from the hospital, he discovers his mother has passed away and he's been evicted. Penniless, he finds himself on the streets of Bombay and befriends Mohan, a blind musician. Together, using their talents for income, they search for Mohan's sister, Meena, who works as a nurse. They also befriend Manjula, a sick young girl, hoping to earn enough money for Ramnath to go to school.
