Valeriano and Cañete, two unforgettable men, exist in a distinctive world within 1950s Santiago de Compostela. The demolition of the Royal Hospital, replaced by a luxury hotel, brings the city's vulnerable population – the sick, pilgrims, and the impoverished – into sharp focus. On a dark, endless night mirroring the bleakness of the times, a simple walk transforms into a desperate fight for survival. Two strangers, bound by shared suffering, struggle to find hope and endure, even if they can't change the world.
