Description:
Shyamsunder, an innocent singer from a village, journeys to Bombay hoping for fame and fortune in Bollywood. Instead, he finds himself struggling on the streets, earning meager donations playing his music. He connects with fellow musician Muthu Swami, and together they try to audition for Tips Cassettes owner, Mr. Khurana, but are unsuccessful. Their lives change when Shyamsunder meets Divya, Mr. Khurana's daughter, and they quickly fall in love. Divya desires to marry Shyamsunder and help him succeed. Unbeknownst to her, Shyamsunder is already pledged to Pooja, a woman from his village who has now come to the city. With both women present, Shyamsunder and Muthu Swami devise a comical plan involving a look-alike to navigate the situation.
