A Great Actor (2005)

Soo-Young, who had planned to take a civil service exam, impulsively joins a theater company, hoping to launch an acting career but feeling rushed and uncertain due to his late start. The company is preparing an experimental play and begins casting. Mi-Ran, in charge of the company, wants to recruit actor Ji-Hwan, believing him to be exceptionally talented, though some actors disagree. Determined to learn from Ji-Hwan, Soo-Young travels to a remote mountain location to find him, only to discover Ji-Hwan is not the person he imagined. Ji-Hwan appears awkward and unsuited for acting. As Soo-Young gets to know him, his pursuit of an acting method unravels, leading him to realize there isn't one.
