Description:
Six stories set in Montreal. First, a young woman from Toronto explores Montreal's nightlife, using only her basic French. Second, the story of a painting depicting Montreal's first mayor, Jacques Viger. Third, during a hockey game, Madeleine attempts to tell her husband Roger, after forty years, that she wants a divorce. Fourth, a conference attendee arriving at the airport encounters a customs officer who steals a souvenir from everyone. Fifth, while being transported to the hospital after a car accident, Sarah reflects on her life. Sixth, at a diplomatic event, an elderly woman recalls a significant love affair in Montreal.
