Description:
Snowfall begins with a dramatic escape: Eighteen-year-old Nermin flees her wedding in a village in Iraqi Kurdistan. As the eldest child, her younger brother Siyar is tasked with finding her and restoring their family's honor. The search becomes perilous for the inexperienced Siyar. He first encounters Elvin, a young girl who joins him as he travels from east to west, across Europe and into Norway. Along the journey, Siyar begins to understand his own desire for respect and for love.
