Description:
The second installment of the trilogy finds Vasek anticipating a summer holiday in Bulgaria with his parents. However, he's drawn to the idea of spending the summer with his gamekeeper grandfather instead of the coast. On the last day of school, Vasek collects his final report card and then, with his bag already packed, he secretly heads to the Bohemian Forest without informing his parents. His grandfather is delighted by his grandson’s unexpected arrival. Later that evening, the grandfather receives a call from Vasek's mother, informing him that the Bulgaria trip has been postponed, allowing Vasek to stay with him for now.
