Qalandia (2025)

"Qalandia" is composed solely of footage Peggy Ahwesh filmed in the mid-2010s during unauthorized access to an abandoned airfield controlled by the Israeli government. Ahwesh views the decaying airport as a symbol of the region's political struggles, where she states that "Land and ownership and privilege are always contested, and power is enacted through land grabs."
