Description:
September 27, 1962, was an unremarkable day in Poland. The weather was partly cloudy. Over 1600 people were born, and approximately 600 died – a typical day. The records detail routine police reports, standard operational procedures, citizen complaints, correspondence from the military and prison, as well as submissions to the newspaper or radio program "Fala 56." A poem by Father Twardowski was censored that day, and all of this occurred under the date of September 27, 1962.
